“Derby at Doberman “Brings Race Day Revelry to Doberman Las Vegas
Doberman Drawing Room, Corner Bar Management’s social club in the Arts District, will bring the spirit of the Kentucky Derby to life with “Derby at Doberman,” a lively afternoon affair featuring live music, themed cocktails, a curated culinary spread and a charitable raffle from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 2. Derby-inspired attire is required, with a dress code enforced for the event. Tickets, starting at $85.91, are available on Doberman’s website.
Behind the bar, award-winning mixologist Juyoung Kang will present an open bar of Derby-inspired cocktails, offering refined interpretations of race day staples. Selections will include the Thoroughbred Julep, made with Old Forester bourbon, crème de cacao blanc and mint; Contender, featuring Woodford Reserve bourbon, Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva rum, banana and Angostura bitters; and Run for the Roses, crafted with Herradura Reposado tequila, hibiscus, orange and lime, each priced at $20 . For a zero-proof sip, the 2 Minutes will feature Earl Grey tea, hibiscus, orange and lemonade, priced at $16. Guests who upgrade their experience will also enjoy a savory buffet curated by Executive Chef Isidro Marquez-Castillo.
Blending Doberman’s creative, social atmosphere with race day energy, the afternoon will feature live jazz from Patrick Hogan and a three-piece band, alongside a charitable raffle benefiting L.E.A.N. (Local Equine Assistance Network), helping provide care, rehabilitation and sanctuary for rescued horses. Guests will have the opportunity to contribute to a local cause while entering to win a curated lineup of prizes, including tickets to “Hansel & Gretel” at The Smith Center, a chef’s tasting menu for four from Executive Chef Isidro Marquez-Castillo and participation in a horse bidding raffle.
